Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of Retro Zombies, an iPhone and iPad game provided by Abstract Software.
By downloading, installing, or using Retro Zombies, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
License and permitted use
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Retro Zombies for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Retro Zombies except where applicable law permits despite this limitation.
App Store and platform terms
If you obtain Retro Zombies through an app store, your use must also comply with that store's applicable terms and policies.
You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device and operating system version.
Ads and the unlock
Retro Zombies is free to download and play with ads. After your first two runs, a short ad plays before each run, and free play needs an internet connection.
A one-time purchase, the unlock, removes the ads and lets you play solo offline. Purchases are processed by the app store, and refunds are subject to its policies. You can restore a previous purchase from Settings.
Games with friends
In a game with friends, you are responsible for the name you choose and for what you say. Do not use names or voice chat to harass, threaten, or abuse others, or to share unlawful content.
Do not cheat, tamper with the game or its servers, or interfere with other players' games. We may end a game or remove a player who does.
Content and age
Retro Zombies contains simulated violence and horror themes and is intended for players aged 13 and older.
Disclaimers
Retro Zombies is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Retro Zombies will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device and environment, or that games with friends will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abstract Software and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, scores, progress, profits, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Retro Zombies.
Our total liability for all claims related to Retro Zombies will not exceed the amount you paid for the game and the unlock, if any.
Termination
These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using Retro Zombies at any time by uninstalling it.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the game.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
Your continued use of Retro Zombies after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
