Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Cloth, a macOS utility provided by Abstract Software.

By downloading, installing, or using Cloth, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cloth for personal or internal business use on Apple devices you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Cloth except where applicable law permits despite this limitation.

If you obtain Cloth through the Apple App Store, your use must also comply with Apple's applicable terms and policies.

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible macOS device and operating system version.

Cloth is designed to temporarily lock keyboard and trackpad input and dim your display while cleaning. You are responsible for using the app appropriately and only when it is safe to do so.

Do not rely on Cloth in situations where interrupted input, temporary lock behavior, or display changes could cause harm, data loss, or operational risk.

Cloth is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Cloth will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every system configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abstract Software and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Cloth.

Our total liability for all claims related to Cloth will not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any.

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using Cloth at any time by uninstalling it.

We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.

Your continued use of Cloth after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
